I crossed half the globe to arrive to Cambodia. It is an eight hour flight from my home country. Cambodia is a Southeast Asian nation whose landscape spans low-lying plains, the Mekong Delta, mountains and Gulf of Thailand coastline. I spent two amazing weeks discovering, exploring and sightseeing ancient monuments from the Khmer Kingdom. I strolled around the small alleys of Cambodia with my friends. We visited Siem Reap, a beautiful resort town in northwestern Cambodia. It is the gateway to the ruins of Angkor, the seat of the Khmer kingdom from the 9th–15th centuries. We later continued our visit to Phenom Phenn, the capital of Cambodia.

In these 2 weeks, we went around the Siem Reap town cycling . We learnt about their ancient traditions, civilization and food. My friends and I built a bamboo house from scratch for the poor families in Widow Island which is located in the capital of Cambodia. We interacted with the families and spent interesting days teaching the kids how to color and draw. Here are some images of my journey.
